How we work
Every job is different, but every job goes the same way: you tell us what you need, we advise and quote, we check your files, you approve, we print and finish, and we deliver anywhere in the UK. Here is what happens at each step.
A rough idea is enough.
Call, email or send a message. Tell us what you need printed, roughly how many, by when and where it has to go. If you have a sample, a previous job or a piece you admire, send that too.
We’ll ask a few questions of our own: the size, the finish, the deadline and the delivery addresses. Those four answers decide most of what follows.
The right paper, finish and format for the job.
We recommend the paper, finish and format that suit what the job has to do, and where there is a cheaper way to get the same result, we’ll say so. You get a price and a date.
Turnaround depends on the job, so we confirm it with your quote instead of promising a number up front.
Before anything runs.
Send print-ready PDFs, or send what you have. We check bleed, resolution, fonts and colour before the job goes anywhere near a press, and tell you plainly if something needs fixing.
Most print problems start in the file. Catching them at this stage costs nothing; catching them after printing costs the whole run.
Nothing runs until you’re happy.
Before a job runs, you confirm the details: the file, the quantity, the stock and the delivery. Where colour or finish really matters, we can arrange a proof first.
Digital, litho and large format, finished properly.
We handle digital, litho and large-format print, and everything that finishes it: cutting, folding, binding, lamination, foil blocking and installation. Where a job needs a specialist process, we manage it, so you still deal with one person.
Nationwide across the UK.
We deliver in one drop or split across as many addresses as you need, and we’ll tell you when it is on its way. For tours and campaigns we work from your schedule and deliver venue by venue, site by site.
The second job starts further along.
Most of our clients come back. Because we know your last job, the next one starts further along: the right size, the right stock and the same contact. Many of our longest relationships, with DHP Family, NCHA and IMWP among them, run to years of repeat work.
