Founded in 2009 by Liam Gallagher, one of the most iconic frontmen in music, the brand unites people through a love of music and fashion. Named after a track by The Jam, Pretty Green provides simple, classic clothing with a modern twist. And we were there at the very beginning.
What’s the story?
Part of the initial range planned for the launch of Pretty Green was a series of t-shirts, hats and scarves for UK and Japanese internet orders. These would require the production of packaging and box labels to be shipped to the manufacturers in Turkey and Italy, where they would then be assembled and packed.
Our brief was to manage the production and shipping to a very strict timetable. The packaging was comprised of two-parts; a diecut outer sleeve and an inner tray, with varying combination of colour-ways, matt or gloss laminations and spot UV patterns.
Overall, we produced and shipped 21,000 boxes and accompanying product labels, delivered right on schedule.
More recently, we received the call from Pretty Green to produce a number of very exclusive press-invitations and itineraries for the launch of their AW17 collections. This included a collaboration between Pretty Green and The Beatles, as featured on the face of the heavyweight 700gsm invite. As quality was paramount, these were printed on the finest GF Smith papers including Accent and Strathmore Grandee. Very nice indeed.
